What we have

If you are reading this, you are not one of the approximately 10 million Americans who is blind. Every morning, you wake up and have the ability to see the ones you love. Enjoy a sunset. Read a book.
80% of the world’s population lives on less than $10 a day. That is 5.6 Billion people. If you are reading this from a Mac, your computer costs as much or more as 5.6 billion people on this planet spend in the course of 100 days.
In the course of our hectic lives, particularly in the cut-throat work culture of NYC, it is easy to focus on all the things we don’t have, and the people that have more things than we do. Stay focused and stay hungry, but don’t forget how lucky you are.
Let’s pledge to take a step back for a minute each morning before the bustle of the day begins, and reflect on what we do have rather than what we don’t.
